Over half a million people are currently leasing a car in the UK through the Motability scheme. And, if you head to Norton Way Mazda, then you too could be eligible for this fantastic opportunity. Motability is a registered charity that helps disabled people and their families to become more mobile, and here at Norton Way Mazda you can trade in your government funded mobility allowance for a brand new Mazda.
To join the Motability scheme you simply have to swap your Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or War Pensioners Mobility Supplement for a new Mazda every three years. Some specific cars will require you to pay an Advance Payment to your dealer when you collect your car.
Am I eligible?
In order to be eligible for the Motability scheme you must receive one of the two following benefits:
• Higher Rate Mobility Component of the Disability Living Allowance
• Enhanced Rate of the Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment
• War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement
• Armed Forces Independence Payment
As well as the benefits above, you should also be expecting to receive your allowance for the full length of the agreement. However, if you have at least 12 months of the award remaining, then you are also able to join. If you can’t drive then fear not, you are still eligible for a Motability contract car, you simply have to nominate two people to drive for you.
The Mazda Motability scheme is available over a period of three years.
Maintenance, insurance, servicing and full breakdown cover will be supplied by the RAC for the full duration of the agreement.
